Leigh Dwyer's Buick

Leigh Dwyer, of Geelong, Australia, pushed this car out of a shed in Metung, East Gippsland, in 1971. It had been converted into a fisherman's ute. Then only 15, Leigh began its restoration. "This is my misspent youth," he says. Clearly he loves the car: "Oh well, I've had it a long time. We don't have any secrets from each other" -- possibly the best old-car quote on record.
